'Investing in Oil & Natural Gas with Private Investment Companies'
There is a private, and independent oil & gas company in the Gulf States area, that I like quite a lot...they have just hit 10 out of 11 new wells they have drilled, and completed in the first quarter of this year...these exploratory, and development wells are the big variety...wells that can pay-out for 10 to 30 years or more...the pay zones are thick, and the cash flow, and recoverable reserves of oil & gas are quite large...this is possible because the area they have targeted with their private, and industry partners is in the best area of the US...the Gulf states area...an area with both onshore, and offshore locations that have been analysed, and studied for years now...it is a very prolific, and big producing part of the world...
The company I regularly recommend to private investors, including my industry player investors, is doing very well...They are achieving their excellent hit rate by using, and combining several very good ideas. They use the newest, and best technology, and are willing to work with a large verification team, all sharing information, with their many industry partners...hence they have many 'sophisticated eyeballs' looking at their selected targets to develop, and exploit...the end result is investors benefit by being able to invest alongside, and with the industry pro's...the hit rates are higher, and when you do find oil & natural gas, it tends to be in the larger recoverable reserves category...
Diversifying and spreading-out your risk is still the only way to go in the oil & gas business...the company I work with, does this in their own investment models, and with all of their investment programs...and suggests their investors do the same.
