Investing in oil & gas in the gulf coast states area is a very important, and key ingredient to making money these days in the 'oil patch'...
Investing in oil & natural gas in the gulf coast states area, in both onshore, and offshore locations has been the best way to make money for quite awhile now... by the experienced operators, and private, independent oil & gas companies... who target this lucrative area to find oil & gas in large quantitites for their industry, and private investors, and themselves...
You can find oil & gas in other areas of the US...but everything seems to come together perfectly in this area...particularly in the gulf coast states...the main purpose of course in our business, like any good business... is to make money while looking for oil & gas, with the experienced people, having the technical skills, cutting-edge equipment, and most importantly, the know how... to make it all happen in a reasonable period of time...
There are of course many other important reasons for focusing in the gulf coast states area...technological advancements, experienced operators, and drilling companies, as well as a substantial pool of competent engineers, and gelogists who work in this area...to name some...however, probably the best overall reason to invest in the gulf states area, besides the obvious one that this is where the largest recoverable, and presently drillable reserves are located...is because this is where the best infrastructure is located...why fight the obvious...?
